FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hemp is a plant in the Cannabis family that is grown for not only medicinal purposes but also things such as the following: food, nutritional supplements, medicine, skin/body care products, paper, building materials, plastic, bio-fuels, and much more.

Its full name, Cannabidiol, is one of hundreds of compounds that come from the Hemp plant. Hemp is naturally very high in CBD and low in THC. CBD has many amazing benefits, some of which have yet to be explored. CBD is known for its full-body effects and non-psychoactive properties. This is great for anyone needing relief without the mental euphoria.

When buying a Hemp Product, you will most likely come across the term “Full Spectrum”, “THC-Free”, “Broad Spectrum”, and “Delta-8 THC”, to name a few. The following are brief descriptions to help you better understand the most common, different types of Hemp products. Keep in mind these types of products have different options such as Oil, Edibles, Topicals, and Vaping.

Full Spectrum means this product contains a wide variety of compounds such as CBD, CBDa, THC, THCv, CBG and many more. Many believe Full Spectrum products are the most beneficial because these products contain a vast array of compounds. Each compound works together in the body and differently to help in its own way. When these compounds work together, it’s called The Entourage Effect. It is scientifically proven that the CBD and THC compounds do need each other to be the most beneficial. With Full Spectrum, most concerns boil down to, “Will I fail a drug test?” or, “Will I feel high?”. Although the answer is 99.9% no, with improper use of Full Spectrum products, there is a very small chance you could. Give us a call with more details surrounding this question.

THC-Free means the CBD product contains only the compound CBD. Meaning it is 100% pure Cannabidiol, with NO THC whatsoever. Isolate based products have proven not to be the most beneficial way to consume your Hemp product internally, although, externally it can be beneficial. The Isolate crystals are not the best for your stomach, and are currently being tested for safety by the FDA. However, Isolate products, in higher mg’s, are a great way to try a CBD product for those who are skeptical of failing a drug test.

Broad Spectrum products are when you need the best of both worlds. Broad Spectrum is a formula containing CBD as well as a number of other compounds excluding all THC. So you have the beneficial aspects of more than a single compound but without the aspect of failing a drug test. This is fairly new when it comes to scientific research and the exact benefits and aspects that make up the Broad Spectrum formula are still partially unknown. The biggest uncertainty surrounding a Broad Spectrum formula is the inconsistency of each batch. This formula is known to give you completely different compounds each time you extract. Meaning, the effects and benefits of the product could be different each time.

Delta-8 THC lives up to the hype you’ve probably been hearing about. Delta-8 products are mostly made up of the Delta-8 THC compound by itself. Meaning, this is a very potent product no matter what form you consume. Delta-8 has psychoactive effects that bring the utmost amount of potency to the table. For those who are more experienced users or those who are looking for an enhanced Hemp experience, we highly suggest starting with a Delta-8 THC product.

Yes! Always request lab results from any place you buy your Hemp products. Third-party lab results will show you the percentage of each compound that makes up the product you are buying. Meaning, you can see if there are really any trace amounts (0.3% or less) of Delta 9 THC. Keep in mind the Total THC can legally be higher than 0.3% and remain 100% legal. For instance, Delta-8 products have a Total THC that ranges much, much higher than 0.3%. While the Delta-9 THC levels in these Delta-8 products remain well under 0.3% Delta-9.

Yes! Hemp is legal in all 50 states but must contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC in all 50 states. However, each state is a little different and always changing, so we encourage you to check with local laws before purchasing.

Delta-8 THC is one of hundreds of different compounds that is naturally occurring in the Hemp plant. In recent years, less popular compounds, like Delta-8, have risen to popularity for its obviously effective properties. Delta-8 THC, or D8 for short, is in fact a psychoactive compound that will cause you to fail a drug test. The THC levels in D8 products are so high (up to 99% in some), that it’s near impossible you will pass a drug test while consuming that product. The effects from D8 are widely sought after as it provides an experience that CBD alone, cannot.

In most states, yes. However, in some states Delta-8 products and hemp-derived products like this, are illegal. What makes Delta-8 THC legal in most states is this: The Delta-9 THC is what’s highly regulated in all 50 states. The Delta-9 THC must be under 0.3%. Whereas the Total THC can be as high as possible. The states that don’t allow these types of high THC products are either because they have specifically banned them OR have a law that the Total THC and Delta-9 THC must both be below 0.3%.

As long as the CBD product contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC and the Total THC is very low (ex. under 1%), the product should not get you high. This is a non-psychoactive substance that does not affect or alter your thoughts and behaviors in a psychoactive way. On the other hand, if your CBD product contains large amounts of THC compounds like Delta-8, then it’s likely to produce psychoactive effects. However, the label on that given product should clearly mark if it’s a Delta-8 THC product or a CBD product.

To this day, there have been no reported or known incidents in which a Hemp product, like CBD, has caused a fatal accident. According to a 2011 study, regular daily doses of up to 1,500mg have been reported to be well tolerated in human beings.

Yes, there is a difference between the two! Hemp Oil is not the same as CBD Oil and will not do the same thing or be near as strong. Hemp Oil typically comes from the seeds of the Hemp plant and those seeds are cold-pressed for their naturally occurring fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and more. People mainly take this as a daily supplement, not for more serious ailments. Whereas CBD oil is most commonly used for its relieving properties to the mind and body.

There are different methods used when extracting Hemp-Derived products from the plant.

A common, clean extraction method is CO2 extraction; which is what a lot of companies use presently.

Another commonly used method is Ethanol Extraction. The Ethanol Extraction method is “Regarded as Safe” by the FDA. This method has been deemed as a more effective method than CO2.

Another 2-part method is called Nano-Emulsion. A summarized breakdown of this method would be: Nano-Emulsion sends nano-sized emulsions (ripples) into the oil which produces a larger water solubility within the body; helping the body to absorb more as well as absorb quicker into the bloodstream.
